State Rep. Jack O’Malley, of Lake Ann, is encouraging residents to share their questions or concerns in a virtual office hours event on Veterans Day.
The event on Nov. 11 – “Lunch with State Representative Jack O’Malley – will take place from 12-1 p.m. and be held over Zoom.
“This is a great opportunity to hear concerns and thoughts from folks or just have a chat over lunch or coffee,” O’Malley said. “These discussions allow me to better represent people across Benzie, Leelanau, Manistee and Mason counties and develop legislative solutions regarding challenges people are facing.”
O’Malley chairs the House Transportation Committee and also serves on House committees devoted to Tax Policy, Financial Services, Education, and Oversight.
Rep. O’Malley, the Chair of the House Transportation Committee, looks ahead to Wednesday’s virtual State of the State Address, saying he hopes the Governor will focus on improving local roads, and convey an authentic interest in rural development and finding common ground.
