PHOTO INFORMATION: State Rep. Bradley Slagh delivered the invocation for the first House session of the 101st Legislature today.
During his prayer he stated, “We ask for blessings on relationships that we build with other representatives on both sides of the aisle. I would ask for growth into true friendships, so that trust can be built, and the outcome would be that we build a profitable environment for moving Michigan forward.”
State Rep. Brad Slagh is urging Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and the Department of Health and Human Services to amend their unilateral orders and to allow winter contact sports to resume in Michigan schools as was previously anticipated until the governor extended the pause last week.
“As we approach the planned end of this round of the governor’s shut-down of in-person dining and other activities on Jan. 15, I am urging Gov. Whitmer to honor her word and allow affected businesses to reopen and serve their customers in a safe manner, as we know they can do.
